Journalism Positions

These positions are responsible for covering news stories for publishing on print, TV, radio and web.

 

*Note:  Some required trainings can be waived if you have completed a journalism internship and/or completed journalsm-related coursework.  Check with your editor/manager for approval.

This training track provides basic skills in audio/visual story telling, including video, audio and still photography.

This track provides basic skills for investigative reporting, public records requests and computer-assisted reporting.  (Note:  You must complete MultiMedia Journalist training first before starting this track).

This track provides basic skills for those interested in hosting a news or sports show.
